Kenneth Frank Golden, 72, of De Leon, passed from this life Monday, September 27, 2021. Kenneth was born to Robert Lee and Billye Holland Golden on March 8, 1949. He married Mary Burch Golden on December 24, 1971. To that union two sons were born.

Kenneth served nine years in the United States Navy. He worked in construction as a Human Resource Manager from 1978 until his retirement.  He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life including woodworking and building and flying radio control airplanes.  He loved the Lord and he loved his family. Kenneth belonged to the First United Methodist Church. Kenneth was a proud Mason with the Armstrong Masonic Lodge #445, De Leon.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Bob Golden; mom, Billye Golden; and granddaughters, Clara Beth and Carleigh Golden.

Kenneth is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-nine years, Mary; son and daughter-in-law, Vance and Brooke Golden of Joplin, Missouri, and David Golden of De Leon; grandchildren, Allison, Chance, Xavier, Bentlee and Rebel Golden; numerous cousins, and many loving friends.

Funeral services celebrating Kenneth's life were held Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at De Leon First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kaiya Kershaw officiating. Kenneth was laid to rest in Oliver Springs Cemetery with Masonic Rites. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, in honor of Kenneth.
