Kimberly Lynn Nabors, 54, of De Leon, passed away March 9, 2016, at De Leon Nursing and Rehab.
She was born February 12, 1962, in Hobbs, NM, to David Allen Sherrod and Linda Lee Henderson Sherrod. Kim married Bill Nabors September 11, 1982, in Jack County, Texas.
Kim was raised in Jacksboro, Texas, and graduated from Jacksboro High School in 1980. She moved to De Leon in 1982 after she and Bill were married. For the past several years, she was employed as a cook. She enjoyed reading, drawing and spending time with her loving family and many friends. She adored her sweet granddaughter and nothing made her happier than spending time with her. Kim was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She is now home with her Lord and Savior. She will be immeasurably missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Bill Nabors; daughter, Megan Nabors; granddaughter, Everleigh Nabors; brothers, Joe Sherrod and Mitchell Sherrod; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. Kim has been reunited with her parents, David and Linda Sherrod; brother, Mark Sherrod; and grandparents, Harold and Mary Brooks.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 11, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Brother Kenneth Wilson officiating.
