Lance M. Hillier, 69, of De Leon, Texas passed from this life July 15, 2024, in Ft. Worth. He was born December 22, 1954, in Minnesota to Manuel Sakkinen and Harriet Taaffe.

Lance was self-employed most all his life and was a jack of all trades. He had lived in the De Leon area since the early 2000's. He was an extremely gifted artist and loved to draw and sketch. He enjoyed watching TV and reading.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher Hillier and Lance Hillier, Jr.; daughter, Amelia Hilliar; three brothers; three sisters; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. Lance was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside committal was held Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Comyn Cemetery.
