Lillie Lanette (Ingram) Chupp, 80, of De Leon, Texas left peacefully to be with the Lord surrounded by family in her home on April 16, 2021.

Lanette was born August 29, 1940, in Haskell, Texas to James Henry and Mabel Ann Ingram. She married the love of her life, Elton Lane Chupp, May 2, 1959, and together raised two sons Jesse Ray and Curtis Lynn. Lanette dedicated her life to the Lord and spent her days as a loving wife, mother, and mawmaw. Lanette was also know as a terrific baker who was happiest cooking for others and whose door was always open. Those who knew her best knew how much she loved her family, and her love never wavered. Lanette was selfless, patient, and kind with the most beautiful soul.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Chupp; her parents, Henry and Mabel Ingram; her sisters, Loretta Sharp and Yvette Skaggs; and her brothers, Howard Ingram and Harley Ingram.

Surviving Lanette are her two sons, Ray Chupp and Lynn Chupp and wife, Jana; sister, Sue Jackson and husband, Jim; five grandchildren, Casey Thomas and husband, Trey, Chad Chupp and LeeAnne, Cory Chupp and wife, Raesha, Katy Robinett and husband, William, Lane Chupp and wife, Candice; eight great-grandchildren, Janalyn, Leighton, Havynn, Payton, Keyton, Riley, Shawn and Ryker.

Funeral services celebrating Lanette's life were held Tuesday, April 20th, at 1:00 p.m. at De Leon First United Methodist Church with Brother Lanny Spruill officiating. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery where Lanette was laid to rest beside her husband, Elton Lane Chupp.
