Larry Mack Solomon's Obituary
Larry Mack Solomon, 68, of De Leon, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015, at De Leon Nursing Home.
He was born December 6, 1946, in De Leon, to John Robert "Bob" Solomon and Lilly Bell Chupp Solomon.
Larry lived in the De Leon community his entire life. He retired from Comanche County as a heavy equipment operator and also worked for the City of De Leon and the Texas Highway Department. He served in the National Guard for many years. Larry enjoyed fishing, farming and growing sweet potatoes. Most of all he enjoyed fellowship with his friends and co-workers.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Solomon; son, Jason Solomon; daughter, Delyn Mankin and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Bryce Hutchins, Hayden Hutchins, Wyatt Mankin and Cash Mankin; one great-granddaughter, Sawyer Hutchins; sister, Bobbie Jean Dennington; one niece and two nephews. Larry was preceded by his son, Anthony Solomon; infant daughter; and his parents.
Graveside funeral services were held Monday, November 23, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche with Brother Kenneth Wilson officiating.
