Leslie Jannett Gaddy, 70, of Duffau, Texas, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018, in Stephenville. She was born August 19, 1947, in Amarillo, Texas to Dee Sherman Calder and Wilma Faye Kimmell Calder. Leslie married her devoted husband of thirty-two years, Eugene Gaddy, November 6, 1985, in Hamilton.

Leslie was raised in De Leon and worked for Tarleton State University for over a decade. Leslie and Eugene lived in Duffau near Hico for over thirty years. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening and crocheting. She also really enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, sister, daughter, and friend. Leslie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Gaddy; brother, Sherman Calder; sister, Jana Grice; aunt, Joyce Chupp; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Dee Calder and mother, Wilma Faye Wilhite.

Funeral services celebrating Leslie's life were held Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Brother Kenneth Wilson officiating. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery.
