Leta Dell Loudermilk, 90, passed peacefully from this life June 19, 2024, in Burleson. She was born April 1, 1934, in Gorman, Texas to Curtis Ace Terry and Zadie Annie McCharen Terry. Leta married Gilbert Loudermilk September 12, 1958. He preceded her in 1996.

Leta was raised in De Leon and graduated from De Leon High School class of 1952. She was employed with Southwestern Bell for many years as a phone operator and was a devoted homemaker for her family. She enjoyed many hobbies including playing bridge, board games and solitaire, square dancing, working crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and playing slot machines. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy in life, and she loved them well. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son Scott Loudermilk and wife, Paula; daughter, Debbie Olson and husband, David; grandchildren, Roy Wylie and wife, Mattie, Marci Wilson and husband, Jeremy, Josh Loudermilk, Chris Olson, Brad Olson and wife, Whitney, Heath Loudermilk and Hannah Olmstead; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kynslee, Tyler, Kylie, and Everley; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members; special friends, Darrell Wylie, Marvin and Barbara Stewart, Jerrod and Heather Olmstead and their children, Wyatt and Sadie; and many other dear friends. Leta has been reunited with her husband, Gilbert; parents, Curtis and Zadie Terry; daughter, Vicki Wylie; sister, Nancy Lawless and husband, Glen; and special friend, Mary Nowlin.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Utley officiating.
