Letha Kaye Montgomery, 38, of De Leon, won her courageous battle over cancer and met her Lord and Savior June 16, 2019, with her loving family by her side. She was born January 20, 1981, to Steven and Jerri McCoy Montgomery.
Letha was a proud graduate of De Leon High School Class of 1999. She was an active member of Cottonwood Church of Dublin. She faithfully served in the Cottonwood Women's Ministry as her health allowed. Letha loved her church and her church family dearly. She was most recently employed by Red Chain Feed as an accounts receivable clerk. Letha enjoyed many hobbies including attending and watching sporting events, staying active and being outdoors, and spending time with her family. Her two sons, Calvin and Brennan, were the light of her life. She was a devoted and attentive mother and loved her sons unconditionally. Letha was also a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed by her friendship and love.
Surviving Letha are her sons, Calvin Lane Montgomery and Brennan Charles Wade Butler; parents, Steven and Jerri Montgomery; sister, Martha Montgomery; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; special cousins, Mike and Sharay Hicks, Robert Clark and Danny Clark; other extended family; and her beloved dog, Tinkerbell. Letha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill McCoy, Bobbie McCoy, Nell McCoy, John and Wanda Montgomery; and brother, Jason Calvin Montgomery.
Funeral services celebrating Letha's life were held Friday, June 21, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Cottonwood Church, Dublin, with Pastor Mike Fritscher and Jeannette Maxwell officiating. Interment followed in Desdemona Cemetery.
