Librada "Lilly" Olivia Castillo Rubio, 90, of De Leon, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013. She was born March 31, 1923, in Falfurrias, Texas, to George Castillo and Josefa Chavez Castillo. She was married to the late Crispin Rubio.

Lilly was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in De Leon. She was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing, listening to music and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Rubio and Frederico Rubio II; daughters, Josie Lopez and Sara Reyna; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family.

Lilly was preceded by her husband, Crispin Rubio; sons, Crispin Rubio, Jr. and Frederico Rubio I; daughter, Janie Garcia; parents, George and Josefa Chavez Castillo; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 4, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in De Leon. Father McNamara officiated the services. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery.
