Louise C. Hall, 97, peacefully passed from this life Tuesday, March 7, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born August 13, 1925, in Westville, Oklahoma to John Claxton and Helen Porter Claxton. Louise married A.C. Hall on October 13, 1942.

Louise lived in Gorman, Texas most of her life. She graduated from Gorman High School Class of 1943. Louise was employed with Gorman ISD for many years as the Librarian, and she was a long-time member of Gorman First Baptist Church. Louise enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, sewing, and caring for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Hall and wife, Martha; daughters, Betty Minter and husband, Scott, Linda Poteet, and Donna Brandstetter and husband, Gene; grandchildren, Gene Jr., Brandon, Ashleigh, Gayla, Jeana, Teresa, Debra, Donna, Jason, Holly, Waylan, and Ryan; numerous great-grandchildren; and other extended family. Louise has been reunited with her husband, A.C. Hall; daughter, Brenda Utley; parents, John and Helen Claxton; and brothers, John Claxton and Frank Carter.

Chapel funeral services, with Brother Paul Winegeart officiating, were held Friday, March 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home. Louise was laid to rest beside her husband in De Leon Cemetery.
