Luis R. Garza, 31, of De Leon, passed away March 28, 2018, in Ft. Worth, with his family by his side. He was born September 17, 1986, in Comanche, Texas.

Luis loved life and lived his to the fullest. He loved dancing and hanging out with his large family and many loving friends. Luis was extremely social and outgoing. He loved cooking, drawing, and making people laugh. He had a one of a kind sense of humor and his laugh was contagious. Luis was baptized July 1, 2017, and attended Cottonwood Baptist Church in Dublin. He was a loving father, husband, son, grandson, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Augustine Leal, Mariano Barron, Dominga Barron and Nancy Garza Davis; wife, Paloma Diaz; children, Carlos Garza, Jazel Garza, Eleena Garza, Joey Cisneroz, and Lorenzo Cisneroz; brothers, Julian Moreno, Brian Ramirez, Stephen Leal, Augustine Leal, Jr. and Mark Leal; sisters, Savanna Davis, Jessica Barron, Latisha Holm, Celina Mendoza and Christy Leal; grandparents, Emma Garza, Bisente Garza and Mary Leal; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews; and other extended family.

Luis has been reunited with his step-father, Charlie Davis; brother, C.J. Davis; grandmother, Fidelia Barron; uncle, Trinidad Garza; cousins, Geraldine Villareal and Pete Barron.

A celebration of life was held Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Fritscher officiating. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Jessie Barron, Jr., Adrian Barron, Erik Garza, James Hancock, Gerald Garza and Rene Garza. Honorary pallbearers were Gerardo Villarreal III, and Joey Hancock.
