Margie Bigham Hale, 86, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014.
Born in Rotan, Texas on September 19, 1927 to the late Barnette and Elizabeth Lambert Bigham.
Margie married John Ross Hale of Rotan, on May 10, 1947 in the first wedding in the Rotan Church of Christ. They were married for 60 years until John Ross died in Nov. 2007. Margie was also preceded in death by her siblings; Joyce Hill of Brownwood, Robert C. Bigham of Missouri City,Texas, and Jim C. Bigham of Nashua, New Hampshire and two great-granddaughters, Makayla and Kaci Hale of Odessa.
Survivors include two sons, John Ross Hale, Jr., his wife, Joyce of Odessa and Blake Hale, his wife, Susan of Bridgewater, Virginia, two granddaughters, Lynnsey Urgo of Grottoes, Virginia and Gretchen Hale of Johnson City, Tennessee; two grandsons, Brian Hale of Glens Falls, NY and Jeremy Hale of Odessa; two great granddaughters, Briley of Glens Falls, NY, Savannah of Odessa and a great grandson, Levi of Grottoes, VA.
A memorial service celebrating Margie's life will be held for friends and family at a later date.
