Marion Janice Quade, 64, of De Leon, passed away September 28, 2018. She was born October 29, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas to Marcus Buel Meroney and Jewel Almeda Kelly Meroney. Marion married her loving husband of 28 years, John Quade, July 3, 1990, in Ft. Worth.

Marion was a long-time member of Edna Hill Baptist Church. She and John moved to De Leon in 1999 and Marion worked for Tarleton State University. She was also employed for many years within law enforcement. Marion enjoyed cooking and playing bingo. She loved all animals and enjoyed charity work and volunteering her time with PAWS and various animal shelters. Her animals, especially her cats, were very dear to her. Marion was a loving wife and mother, doting grandmother, special sister, and a caring friend to so many. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, John Quade; daughters, Kimberly Donahue and husband, William, and Vicki Folwer and husband, SGM Eric Fowler; grandchildren, Alice Donahue, Kai Donahue and Gabriel Fowler; brother, Marc Maroney and wife, Peg; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, Buel and Almeda Meroney.
