Marladean "Dede" Morgan, 62, passed peacefully from this life October 3, 2024, in Ft. Worth. She was born April 17, 1962, in Florence, Oregon and got to Texas a quick as she could. She married her best friend and devoted husband, Kevin Morgan, on June 7, 1980, one month after her high school graduation from Carbon.

Dede and Kevin are long time members of St. Joe Baptist Church. Dede loved the Lord and served as His hands feet in any way she could. She and Kevin are members of the Christian Motorcycle Association and enjoyed the opportunity it provided them to share God's love. Dede was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family. Her kids and grandkids were the center of her world and brought her immense joy. She enjoyed many hobbies including going to rodeos, concerts, working puzzles, playing card games and 42. She lived all of her adult life in the De Leon community. Dede was a special wife, a dedicated and loving mother, a doting grandmother, loving sister, and dear friend to many. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Kevin; son, Glen Morgan; daughters, Raeshell Hampsten (Sethaniel) and Samantha Salinas (Justin); seven grandchildren; sisters, Tammy Dake and Robin Kanady (Doyle); three nieces, two nephews, and other extended family. Dede was preceded in death by her father, James Dake; and aunt and uncle, Wesley and Frances Couch.

Graveside services were held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Brother Donnie Auvenshine officiating.
