Martha Johnston Keith began walking the streets of gold with the Lord January 16, 2021.

Martha was born in Blair, Oklahoma, Johnson County, on April 3, 1931, to Tom and Elle Johnston. She was the youngest of nine children. The cotton crop of 1930 was hailed out so back to central Texas to try peanuts again! They moved to the Suez Community in 1943. Martha finished school in Beattie, Texas in 1947 and married F.D. Dink Keith in November 1947. She was a devoted homemaker, mother, and enjoyed working in retails sales in Lubbock, Texas for fourteen years. Martha enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains, and was a talented seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Dink; her parents; five brothers; and three sisters.

Martha is survived by her three children, Steve and Sandra Keith of Lubbock, Texas; Debbie and Rick Koonce of Morgan Mill, Texas, and Rick and Darlene Keith of Carpinteria, California; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Morgan Mill Baptist Church.
