Marvin Leo Hulsey, Sr., 78, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, with his family at his side.
He was born October 6, 1936, in Evant, Arkansas, to Hershell and Devora Liddie Hulsey. Marvin married Janet Labrado June 6, 1960, in Olden, Texas.
Marvin retired from the agriculture industry. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He loved to work with wood and enjoyed building things. He also enjoyed working on his vehicles. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Janet Hulsey; sons, Marvin Hulsey, Jr., and Michael Hulsey and wife, Cynthia; daughters, Peggy Hulsey and Lisa Lively and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Jeremiah Lively, Kathy Hulsey, Bramdon Hulsey, Trinity Hulsey, Max Hulsey and Jasmine Hulsey; sister, Tean Hulsey; brothers, Roy Hulsey, Wayne Hulsey, and Lonnie Hulsey; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Marvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Lynn Hulsey; parents, Hershell and Liddie Hulsey; and sisters, Dorothy Covey and Bertha Hulsey.
