Mary Lou (Brasuell) Rhyne, 83, of De Leon, passed from this life Friday, January 27, 2023, at her home. She was born November 12, 1939, in Gorman, Texas to Jewel (Jude) and Dale Brasuell.

Mary was a lifelong devoted caretaker of others. She selflessly cared for many family members and friends throughout her life. She loved to work and stay busy. She also always enjoyed shopping. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed beyond measure.

She is survived by her son, Randy L. Rhyne; son-in-law, Mike Murphy; grandchildren, Leslie and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Kole, Annie, Olivia, Alexis, Taylor and Tommy; sister, Judy Adams; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family.  Mary has been reunited with her daughter, Rhonda Murphy; parents, Jude and Dale Brasuell; and brothers, Jack, Sonny, and Carl.

Graveside funeral services were held Friday, February 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Brother Denver Rainey officiating.
