Michael Angel Gonzales, 50, of Mingus, passed away in De Leon June 18, 2017, with his loving family by his side.
He was born July 27, 1966, in San Angelo, Texas, to Richard Gonzales and Beatrice Maria Martinez Gonzales. Michael married Cheryl Cook December 17, 2008 in Mingus, Texas.
Michael was Catholic. He was self-employed as a welder for many years. He lived in De Leon most all of his life until moving to Mingus. He enjoyed fishing, pool, motorcycles, dancing, music and art. Michael was very close to his family; they were his greatest joy in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Gonzales; sons, Justin Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, Brandon Gonzales, Chance Cooper and Nathan Gonzales; daughter, Anesty Rainey; grandchildren, Elena Gonzales and M.J. Gonzales; father, Lupe Reyna; mother, Beatrice Reyna; brothers, Richard Gonzales, Ronald Gonzales, Tosh Reyna and Lorenzo Reyna; and sisters, Patricia Obregon and Pinky Martinez Reyna.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Richard Gonzales; and son, Christopher Gonzales.
