Michael Glenn Wilson, 45, of De Leon, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014. He was born March 8, 1969, in De Leon, to Kenneth and Kathy Dawkins Wilson.

Michael was a member of Fair Haven Baptist Church. He lived in Colorado for many years before returning to De Leon. He loved farming and welding. He enjoyed building custom rope crosses and was very creative. Michael was a true cowboy and loved spending all the time he could outdoors. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his sons, Kiefer Wilson and Wyatt Wilson; parents, Kenneth and Kathy Wilson; sister, Kimberly Hill; one nephew; two nieces; and numerous aunts and uncles. Michael has gone home to join his grandparents, Jack and Modena Wilson and Houston and Violet Dawkins.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 28, 2014, at 3:30 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Brother Daniel Harper officiating. Graveside services followed in Sand Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Speedy Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Ricci Coan, Kerry Barefoot, Todd Morris and Dwain Morris.
