Michael Raymond Parker, 70, a lifelong resident of De Leon, passed away September 6, 2022, in Abilene, Texas. Mike was born February 13, 1952, in Gorman, Texas to Arden G. Parker and Charlotte Joiner Parker.

Mike graduated from De Leon High School Class of 1970. He was employed by Texas Cooperative as a peanut inspector for many years. He loved to spend time outdoors. He could often be found arrowhead hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He enjoyed having a good time with his buddies and drinking his favorite beer. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his brother, Ronnie Parker and wife, Rebecca, and Phillip Parker; nieces, Kasey Sams and Michelle Keene; other extended family and many friends.

Graveside funeral services were held Friday, September 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in Victor Cemetery with Brother Denver Rainey officiating.
