Mildred Ella Silkebakken's Obituary
Mildred Ella Silkebakken, 89, of De Leon, passed away November 15, 2013 in Temple.
She was born September 14, 1924, in Radcliffe, Iowa to William A. Rosburg and Lois C. Teske Rosburg. She married Shirley Silkebakken May 12, 1945.
Mildred was retired from the air plane manufacturing industry. She enjoyed sewing and knitting. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Bill Silkebakken; daughter, Cheryl Taylor; sisters, Marie West, Juanita Olson and Peggy Woods; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
A graveside service was held Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Comanche County. Brother Kenneth Wilson officiated the service.
