Nadine Vandivere Pilcher, 86, of San Angelo, formerly of De Leon passed from this world to be with Jesus, March 4, 2023, in Brownwood, Texas. She was born September 6, 1936, in Anson, Texas to Ernest and Tressie Vandivere. She married William Jack Pilcher on December 4, 1954, in Rising Star, Texas.
Jack and Nadine lived in Albany, Texas where their girls grew up. They moved to Marshall for job opportunities. When they retired, they moved back to Jack's hometown of De Leon. In 2013, they moved to San Angelo to be with their girls. During her lifetime Nadine was very active in churches and their communities. She enjoyed her customers as she worked as a teller at banks.
Nadine is survived by her husband, Jack Pilcher; daughters, Rebecca Tankersley, Kathy Williams and husband, Danny; sister, Ernestine Rankin; grandchildren, Sara Tankersley, Ross Williams and Rachel Auten; great grandchildren, Ross Auten, John Auten, Bailey Williams and Emmett Williams; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Graveside services were held in De Leon Cemetery on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with grandson Ross Williams, officiating.
