Nancy Karen Sanders Alcorn, 72, passed from this life June 30, 2025 in Abilene. She was born to Lloyd Sanders Sr. and Norma Ruth Chandler Sanders on April 26, 1953.

Nancy was raised in De Leon and graduated with the class of 1971. She lived most all her adult life in the Abilene area. She was most recently employed with Salta Pipe Company. She enjoyed crocheting and rummaging garage sales. Nancy also enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and spending time outdoors. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Alcorn; brothers, Lloyd Sanders and wife, Deborah, and Ed Sanders and wife, Debra; brother-in-law, Dale Alcorn; sister-in-law, Carole Alcorn; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Sr. and Norma; and former husband, Donald Roy Alcorn.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Comyn Cemetery with Brother Paul Winegeart officiating.
