Nettie Lou Stone passed from this life on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.  Nettie was born on December 26, 1942, to Floyd and Garnett Jones.  She graduated from De Leon High School and married Ardith Ray Stone on April 22, 1961.

Although Nettie worked several local jobs and was a stay-at-home mother for much of her life, she is most well-known for running her and Ray's auto part store, Casey's Auto, that she basically built from the ground up. Nettie was also well known by her family to have a gift with animals. There are countless stories of her being able to communicate with pets and animals in ways that no one else could. You name the animal, and there is a very good chance that she either had one or nursed one back to health.

Nettie is survived by three sons, Shane Stone (Kelly), Allen Stone (Chris Ann), and Casey Stone (Amber). Nettie had twelve grandchildren: Makenzie Akers, Jaxon Stone, Aaron Stone, Ashley House, Ashley Saunders, Haylee Ratliff, Payton Stone, Landen Stone, Audree Leicht, Callie Leicht, Chris Morris and Whitney Morris; as well as twelve great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Blanton Jones.  Nettie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Laquita Jones, and her son Toby Morris (Julia).

To honor Nettie's wishes, a private graveside committal was held in Comyn Cemetery.
