Nina Beth Fronk, 80, passed from this life Friday, May 22, 2026, at her home. She was born on Christmas Day, 1945, in Gorman, Texas, to Ottis Parker and Ruby Alice Childress Parker. Nina Beth married her loving husband of sixty-one years, Gerald, on May 16, 1964. He preceded her in death in 2025.
Nina Beth was raised in De Leon and graduated with the De Leon High School class of 1964. She retired from the Texas Department of Agriculture after twenty-seven dedicated years of service. Gerald and Nina were long-time members of St. Joe Baptist Church. Their church membership spans over four decades with Gerald serving as a Deacon for many of those years. Nina loved serving in her church however she was able. She loved her church family dearly.
Nina Beth enjoyed many hobbies in life including traveling, especially to the mountains in Colorado, and to Texas beaches. They were a part of the No Mercy Jeepin' group for many years and absolutely loved the adventures they shared with those dear friends. She loved to craft, do puzzles, and play card games with her children and grandchildren. Nina Beth also enjoyed reading. She was a devoted and loving wife to Gerald, a selfless mother to her children, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Behind her relationship with God, her family meant everything to her. She always put their needs above her own, and she loved them well all the days of her life. She was a loyal friend, neighbor, and servant of Christ. Nina Beth was loved by all who knew her and she will be missed beyond measure.
She is survived by her loving family: son, Jerry Fronk and wife, Becky; daughter, Debbi Sparger and husband, Danny; grandchildren, Brandon Frazier, Courtney Spears and husband, Jeremiah, Jessica Crome and husband, Nick, Derek Sparger and wife, Alexa, and Dustin Sparger and wife, Katelyn; four great grandchildren, LeeAnn Sparger, Blake Sparger, Caroline Crome and Madison Crome; brother, Don Parker and wife, Jackie; sister-in-law, Glenda Wilkerson and husband, Gayle; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Nina Beth was preceded in death by Gerald and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers were Derek Sparger, Dustin Sparger, Mike Huddleston, Dwain Morris, Todd Morris and Terry Nowlin. Kenneth Quinn was honorary pallbearer.
