Patricia Ann Morris Brown, 79, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 20, 2019, with her loving family by her side. She was born April 11, 1940, in Gorman, Texas to George Lambert Morris and Erma Lee Powell Morris. Patricia married Don Edward Brown February 15, 1958, in De Leon at St. Joe Baptist Church. Don and Patricia enjoyed sixty-one years of loving marriage.

Patricia and Don are long time devoted members of St. Joe Baptist Church, De Leon. Patricia enjoyed playing the piano at St. Joe Baptist Church for many years. She was very active in the Children's Ministry at the church, as well as serving on the church's bereavement meal committee. Patricia loved her church dearly and considered them family. Patricia lived in Comanche County most of her life other than when she and Don lived in Odessa for thirty-eight years while he was employed in the oil and gas business. She was a talented seamstress and wonderful cook and loved reading. Her family was her greatest joy in life and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Don Brown; son, Rhet Morris Brown; daughter, Dona Rene Brown; grandchildren, Cambri Rene Massie and husband, Adam; niece, Lesa Madrid and husband, Arnold, Mark Morris and wife, Kim; numerous cousins, and other extended family. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, George Edward Morris and Jerry Wayne Morris.

Graveside memorial services celebrating Patricia's life were held Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in Victor Cemetery with Brother Matt Morton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joe Baptist Church in honor of Patricia.
