Patricia Sue Parker Loudermilk, 72, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior September 16, 2017, with her loving family by her side.
She was born December 18, 1944, in Abilene, Texas to Arthur Parker and Clois Adell Miller Parker. Pat married Franklin Hardy Loudermilk May 18, 1968 in De Leon.
Pat was a long-time active member of the church of Christ, De Leon. She was faithful and devoted to serving her Lord and she loved her church. Pat loved her church family just as her own. She was a teacher for De Leon ISD and retired after twenty-six years of dedicated service. Pat was very active in the De Leon Community serving in various capacities in many different organizations including the De Leon Shakespeare Club, Study Club, and Retired Teachers Association.
Her devotion to her family was a very important part of her life. She attended each and every sporting or school event of her grandchildren that she could. Family was always a priority and she was selfless in caring for them. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, neighbor and friend. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind a loving legacy in her family. She is survived by her son, Lacy Loudermilk and wife, Jaye; daughters, LeAnn Harris and husband, Brian, and Patti Burrow and husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Chase Loudermilk, Zach Harston, Preston Loudermilk, Shaelyn Harris, Landon Harris, Ashlyn Harris, Jaycee Burrow, Baylee Burrow, and Kaymee Burrow; great-grandchildren, Brylee Harston and Kambri Loudermilk; sister, Nancy Archer; niece, Melissa Ho; nephew, Randall Archer; cousin, John Scott; other extended family and numerous friends. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Loudermilk; and parents, Arthur and Adell Parker.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the church of Christ, De Leon (HWY 6), with Minister Kris Groda and Minister Denny Wilson officiating. Graveside services followed in Downing Cemetery.
