Paula Julaine Powell's Obituary
Paula Julaine Painter Powell, age 63, of De Leon, passed away December 20, 2014, at Green Valley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, North Richland Hills, TX.
She was born on August 13, 1951 in Brady, Texas, to the late Paul Painter and Avis Forrest Painter. She married the late Garry Powell on August 12, 1971.
Paula had lived in the De Leon Community most all of her life. She was a caring person with a big heart touching the lives of many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Powell and wife, Tabatha; granddaughter, Cassidy Powell, all of Felton, Delaware; sisters, Nila Blakeney of Ft. Worth and Theresa Clayton of De Leon; mother-in-law, Frances Powell of De Leon; and other extended family. Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Garry Powell; and her parents.
Graveside funeral services were held Sunday, December 28, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in Victor Cemetery with Brother Jackie Auvenshine officiating.
