Phyllis Cooper Friend, 81, peacefully passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, in Goldthwaite. Phyllis moved to De Leon in 2009 from Anson, Texas.
She was a loving homemaker for her family. Her fondest memories were watching wild mustang horses roam free in Idaho and gold panning in Idaho City. In honor of Phyllis' final wishes, she will return to Idaho, a place she loved dearly. No local services are scheduled.
