Earl Stultz, 60, of Ft. Worth, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019. He was born January 24, 1959, in Argentia, Newfoundland to Richard Howard Stultz and Mildred Doloris Ellis Stultz.
Earl grew up in De Leon and graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. He worked for many years as a parole officer then went to work for a company who furnished guards for federal prisoners admitted to hospitals. Earl's family lovingly described him as a wonderful stepdad and loving Pappy to his grandchildren. He was a big man with a bit of an edge but a kind Christian heart. He loved History, Martial Arts (Black Belt Achievement), War Games, Ren Fest, motorcycles and poker. He was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, Ft. Worth. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Earl is survived by his mother, Mildred Doughty; step-daughter, Whitney; grandchildren, Julie, Gavin and Darius; great-granddaughter, Kehlani; sister, Ginger Brown; nephews, Dale, Jacob and Caleb Brown; numerous aunts, uncles, and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Stultz; grandparents, Earl and Stella Carleton and Everett and Bea Ellis; and nephew, Wayne Brown.
Funeral services celebrating Earl's life were held Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Pastor Alicia Thompson-Summers officiating. Interment followed in Oakland Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association at P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, in memory of Earl.
