Obituary

Randell Lee Mull, 82, passed away February 3, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 22, 1943, in Gorman, Texas to Robert Lee Mull and Earlene Dale Horton Mull. Randell married his loving wife, Joyce Jeanette Boerner, on October 6, 1977, at her home in Proctor, Texas.

Randell was a lifelong resident of Comanche County other than the twenty years that he was employed in Waco as a property manager for HGS. He was also self employed as a peanut farmer and rancher, a calling he loved dearly. His horses were a great joy in his life, and his second love following his family. Randell was very active in the community and volunteered in various organizations. He was active with the American Quarter Horse Association, American Simmental Simbrah Association, Texas Farm Bureau, Comanche Roping Club, Proctor Roping Club, and always served as a 4H Leader. Randell was honored as the Grand Marshal of Comanche in 2007. He was a Baptist and loved the Lord. Randell was a devoted and loving husband, a wonderful dad and granddad, and a special friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Mull; son, Lee Mull (Casondra); daughters, Randa Schwertner (Matt) and Edna Elliott; grandchildren, Colt Schwertner, Erik Elliott (Danielle); Meranda Easter (Daniel), Athena Mull, Katlyn Campbell (Cliffton), and Tracy Schwertner; and other extended family.

Randell has been reunited with his parents; great-granddaughter, Darla Jane Campbell; and parents-in-law, Walter and Edna Boerner.

The Mull family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 1-2:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home.
