Raymond Moreno, 74, of De Leon, passed away June 7, 2018. He was born February 28, 1944, in Burnet, Texas to Daniel Moreno and Nanica Anandiz Moreno. Raymond was married to his loving wife of over thirty years, Sandra Moreno. Sandra preceded him in 2015.

Raymond and Sandra lived in De Leon for thirty years and raised their family here. He was a long-time member of Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church, De Leon. He was employed as a ranch hand and he loved his job and that it allowed him to be outdoors. Raymond enjoyed fishing, farming, harvesting pecans and spending time with his large family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his sons, Eric Moreno and Raymond Moreno, Jr.; daughters, Sarah Moreno, Elida Moreno and Veronica Moreno; grandchildren, Isabel Moreno, Maribel Moreno, Martha Villalobos, Anayeleigh Villalobos, Sandra Rae Moreno, Raymond Moreno, III, Isaiah Moreno, Anthony Moreno, Adam Moreno, Alyssa Moreno, Gabby Moreno, Destanie Moreno, Aundrea Moreno and Jayliegh Moreno; brothers, Fred Moreno and Daniel Moreno, Jr.; sisters, Maria Ramirez, Lucy Ramirez, Gloria Ramirez, Pauline Perez, Bibiana Ruiz and Angelina Moreno; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extend family. Raymond was preceded by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Josie Moreno; parents; and twelve brothers and sisters.
