Richard (Rick) Newman Brumbelow, 78, went to be with our Lord on Monday, January 29, 2018, in Granbury, Texas.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 2, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home, De Leon. Graveside services were held Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in Tioga Cemetery, Tioga, Texas.

Richard was born April 10, 1939, to the late Jack and Cliftine Brumbelow in Gorman, Texas. He grew up in De Leon, Texas where he graduated from high school. After high school Richard joined the Army. He worked for Phillips 66 until his retirement. Richard was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Richard was loved so much and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Sheila Pastore and husband, Matt, of Castle Rock, Colorado; grandson, Josh Pastore of Castle Rock, Colorado; brother, Don Brumbelow and wife, Linda, of Stephenville, sister, Anna Beth Keith and husband, Kenny of De Leon; brother-in-law, Jackie Auvenshine of De Leon; very special friend, Nancy Blakely of Granbury; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Cliftine Brumbelow; sisters, Mackie Leavell and Susie Auvenshine; nephew, Ken Keith; and niece, Lindsey Lozano.
