Robert Dave Clark, 70, of Cross Plains, Texas passed from this life June 29, 2024, in Temple. He was born April 30, 1954, in Abilene to Robert E. Clark and Lucille Wilson Clark.

Robert was raised in De Leon and attended De Leon High School. April 1, 1974, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country for several years. Robert was employed and retired with Higginbotham Brothers Lumberyard. He enjoyed many hobbies including reading, watching westerns, taking walks, and working word puzzles.

He is survived by his sister, Roxann Armstrong and her husband Glen; sister-in-law, Margaret Clark; nieces, Janice Kelly, Carie Brown, Susan Perry, and Rachel Armstrong; nephews, Robert Clark, Tommy Clark, Michael Clark, Mark Armstrong and John Clark; numerous other nieces and nephews; and other extended family members.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Clark and Lucille Wilson Clark; brothers, Tommy Clark and Johnny Clark; sisters, Rebecca Perry and Betty Clark.

Graveside committal was held Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in Victor Cemetery with John Swift officiating. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Citizens Center (108 N. Main Street, Cross Plains, Texas 76443) in memory of Robert Dave Clark.
