Roland Edward Perry, 59, of Gorman, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at his home. He was born April 24, 1958, in Ft. Worth to Jack Edward Perry and Mary Jane Etter Perry.

Roland lived in Eastland County most all of his life. He retired from the State of Texas as a peanut inspector for TCIP after many years of dedicated service. Roland was a small plane pilot and loved to fly, a hobby he shared with both his father and his son, Jordan. He was also a certified storm chaser and loved being as close to the storms as he could safely be. Roland enjoyed fishing, farming and spending time outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, Jordan Perry and wife, Brittany; former wife, Lori Garcia; extended family; and many loving friends. Roland was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Minister Denver Rainey officiating. Graveside services will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Gorman.

No visitation is scheduled.
