Ronnie P. Basham of De Leon, Texas passed away June 18, 2020. Ronnie was born July 27, 1946 to BA and Elvie Basham in Gatesville, Texas.

Following his birth he and his parents and older brother Dwyane returned to the Bar S/Rocker B Ranch where he spent his youth and attended school at Big Lake. After that, Ronnie worked at numerous ranches around the San Angelo, Texas area and then relocated to De Leon, Texas to help his parents after their retirement.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, several aunts and uncles, sister-in-law Anita Basham, and numerous cousins. Survivors include his brother Dwyane of Lubbock, Texas, niece Christina Basham of Little Rock, Arkansas, numerous cousins and many friends.

A special thanks to Dr. Miller and staff at CCMC, Dr. Farrell and staff at Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene, Texas and a very special thanks to Mark Sides.

A memorial service celebrating Ronnie's life was held Friday, June 26, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home followed by burial of his remains in King Cemetery (near Gatesville, TX) at 3 p.m. on Friday.
