Ronald "Ronnie" Parker, 74, of Nabors Lake (De Leon) peacefully passed from this life Friday, June 16, 2023, at his home. He was born July 20, 1948, in Gorman, Texas to Ardin Parker and Charlotte Joiner Parker. Ronnie married Rebecca Parker September 2, 2004, in De Leon. They had been loving companions for thirty years and always enjoyed their time together.

Ronnie was raised in the De Leon community and graduated from De Leon High School. Ronnie was employed as a truck driver with American Milk Producer Inc. for over twenty years. He enjoyed many hobbies including arrowhead hunting, hunting, and fishing. He loved living on Nabors Lake where he could fish any time he wanted. He was quite a character and enjoyed many happy times with his loving family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Parker; daughters, Michelle Keen and husband, Jerry, and Kasey Sams and husband, Bobby; stepson, Rusty Duke; grandchildren, Earl, Cherokee, Mike, Tesla, Cadence, and Chord; brother, Phillip Parker; numerous great-grandchildren; and other extended family. He has been reunited with his parents, Ardin and Charlotte; and brother, Mike Parker.

Graveside funeral services were held Monday, June 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in Parker's Graveyard (Parker family cemetery south of Gorman) with Brother Denver Rainey officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Keen, Michael Parker, Trevor Brown, Casey Hoffman, Earl Keen, and Clinton Carter. Honorary pallbearers were Hoyt Hoffman and Branson Hoffman.
