Rosa Lee Johnston Davis, 97, of Lufkin, Texas, went home to her Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 17, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born April 3, 1921, in Comanche County to Marshal Johnston and Lucy Janes Johnston. Rosa Lee married her loving husband, Paul James Davis, Sr. October 21, 1939, in Cisco, Texas.

Rosa Lee was a long-time member of The Church of Christ, most recently with her membership held at Zavalla, Texas. She loved her church and her church family. She was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family. She had many hobbies but really enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and her best companion and dog, Charlie. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Paul James "Jamie" Davis, Jr.; daughter, Nancy Davis; grandchildren, Paul James Davis III and wife, Stacey, Andrea Stricklin Adams and husband, Paul, and Nancy Dee Johnson; great-grandchildren, Seth, Taylor, Darbi, Kayla and Blaine; great-great grandchildren, G.G., Skyler, and Skarlett; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family; and her loving dog, Charlie. Rosa Lee has been reunited with her husband, Paul James Davis, Sr.; parents, Marshal and Lucy Johnston; and brothers and sisters.
