Sable Lynn Carpenter, 32, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior December 19, 2017. She was born July 28, 1985, in Eastland, to Morgan and Susan Davenport.

Sable was a member of First United Methodist Church of De Leon and she loved worshiping God. She enjoyed walking and visiting her many friends. She loved listening to music and anything sparkly. She was always full of life and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her fiancé, David Bowles; daughter, Laura; mother, Susan Davenport; brother, Sean Davenport; sisters, Shannon Hamilton, Sabrina Gillentine and Dana Collins; numerous nephews; one niece; and other extended family. Sable was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Carpenter; father, Morgan Davenport; and brother, Burnie Davenport.

Funeral services celebrating Sable's life were held Thursday, December 28, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Pastor John Woodard officiating. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery.
