Sara Jane Lacomb, 27, of De Leon, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 29, 1990, in Amarillo, Texas, to Robert Cordova and Janet Ruth Lacomb.

Sara moved to De Leon from Early in 2012. She was most recently employed as a store clerk at Shell Co. She enjoyed shopping and arts and crafts. Her son, Nicholas, was the light of her life and she cherished each moment with him she was gifted. Although her time on this earth was too brief, her positive influence on those she loved will live on forever.

She is survived by her precious son, Nicholas Lee Woodruff; mother, Janet Lacomb; father, Robert Cordova; brother, Mickey Lee Grumbles; and sister, Elizabeth Grumbles; and other extended family.

Memorial services celebrating Sara's life will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Minister David Westbrook officiating.
