Shane Franklin Cooke, 40, of Sanger, Texas went home to meet his Lord and Savior October 7, 2019. He was born in Irving, Texas December 1, 1978 to Franklin and Joyce Warren Cooke.

Shane graduated from Nimitz High School in Irving in 1997. He went on to trade school and became licensed in the commercial construction field. He was employed as a Commercial Construction Field Engineer for many years. Shane was a member of Ridin ' for the Brand Cowboy Church of Sanger. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. He was Eagle Scout and also a member of the Irving Masonic Lodge #1218. Shane was a loving father, son, and brother and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving Shane are his parents, Franklin and Joyce Warren Cooke; daughter, Adrianne M. Cooke; sister, K risty Bloom and husband, Greg; nieces, nephew, cousins, aunts, uncles, other extended family; and many friends. Shane was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Adina and Merle Cooke and maternal grandparents, Niven and Louise Warren.

Funeral services celebrating Shane's life were held Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home. Interment followed in Victor Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice, in honor of Shane.
