Sharon K. "Cookie" Irwin, 69, of De Leon, peacefully passed from this life Monday, July 3, 2023. Sharon was born April 26, 1954, in Estherville, Iowa to William Redman and Ruby Lind Redman. Sharon married Arthur Irwin in 1977.

Sharon was raised in Iowa and graduated from Estherville High School. She attended college there and moved to Houston where she met and married Arthur. They relocated to Colorado for many years and had two children, Melody and Zach. In 1998, they made one final move to De Leon which became their home. Once here, Sharon was employed as a medical assistant in the Radiology department at Harris Methodist – Stephenville for fourteen years. She loved the opportunity her career provided her to help others in need. Sharon was Lutheran and loved the Lord. She was a devoted wife, selfless mother, special grandmother, and loyal friend to many. She will be missed beyond measure.

She is survived by her daughter, Melody Irwin; grandchildren, Anthony Rangel and Harmony Hudson; sister, Linda Schaa; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Sharon has been reunited with her husband, Arthur; son, Zach; and brother, Rex Redman. No services are currently scheduled.
