Sharon Farrow Smith, 85, peacefully passed from this life October 1, 2026, at her home. She was born September 30, 1941, in Gorman, Texas to Donal Farrow and Roxie LaRue Wilkerson Farrow. Sharon married Bill Smith on March 5, 2015.

Sharon was raised in Comanche County and graduated from De Leon High School. She spent most of her life working in the restaurant industry, where her love of people allowed her to meet and get to know many wonderful individuals.

Sharon enjoyed shopping and reading, was a wonderful cook, and treasured the time she spent with her family. She loved to travel, explore new places, and experience all that life had to offer. She was generous by nature, always thinking of others and looking for ways to help those around her.

Above all, Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; children, Todd Downs and wife, Deanna; grandchildren; ShaShawna Bush and husband, Kirby, Jason Cogburn, Donal Brent Cogburn and wife, Kandice; Christopher Cogburn and wife, Leslie, Andrew Cogburn, Jordan Downs and Madison Downs; numerous great-grandchildren; and other extended family and many friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her children, Jerry Brent Cogburn and Sharon Denise Connell, as well as her two brothers, Larry Farrow and Randy Farrow.

In respect of Sharon’s wishes, no public services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
