Shirley Ann Bottlinger, 68, a lifelong resident of De Leon, Texas passed from this life June 18, 2023, in Ft. Worth. She was born May 19, 1955, in Hearne, Texas to Floyd Weldon Anderson and Lottie "Pete" Reese Anderson.

Shirley graduated from De Leon High School in 1973. She loved to play Bingo, attend horse races, and go to casinos. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and fishing. Her grandsons were the greatest joy in her life, and she was so very proud of them. Shirley was a devoted mother, a doting grandmother, loving sister, loyal friend, and such a joy to all who knew and loved her. She will be missed beyond measure.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sheila Moss and boyfriend, Chris Brown; lifelong best friend, Darla Conway; grandsons, Aaron Moss and Hayden Moss; brother, Ben Anderson (Becky); sister, Janie Bessolo (David); numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lottie Anderson; sister, Donna Truesdale; brother, Bubba Anderson; stepdad, Tony Vera; and two nieces, Brenna Anderson and Blaine Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at The Way Fellowship (1125 N. Texas Street, De Leon).
