Steven Lynn Jackson, 58, of De Leon, passed from this life Tuesday, December 20, 2022. He was born August 20, 1964, in Arlington, Texas. Steven was a loving son and a devoted father to his five children.

Steven graduated from Richardson High School in 1982. He moved to De Leon in 2019. He was self-employed with Mission Tortilla for many years. Steven was always full of life. He loved all kinds of music and comedy (especially Saturday Night Live). He enjoyed watersports and traveling. He would go to Six Flags any chance he got, even as an adult. Steven was a proud dad, always supportive and involved with his children's lives and activities. There will be a large void left in the lives of his family, but his love will remain with them forever.

He is survived by parents, Nicholas J. Cangiamilla and Mary Ruth Henslee Cangiamilla; sons, Derek Jackson (Brittany), and Brennan Jackson (Kelsey); daughters, Clarissa Jackson (Tommy); Miranda Jackson Brassie (Garin), and Marleigh Jackson; brother, Nick Cangiamilla of Washington State; sister, Misty Overton (Billy); nieces, Kennedy and Zara; nephews, Stetson and Brazos; aunt, Patsy Johnston; uncle, Lanny Johnston; the Birdow family; other extended family; and many dear friends. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Jackson; grandparents, Leslie and Ruth Henslee; and grandmother, Leslie Jackson.

Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in Mt. Carmel Cemetery (934 CR 4818, Wolfe City, Texas 75496).
