Susan Marie Davenport, 58, of Gorman, passed away May 9, 2019. She was born March 7, 1961, in Cottage Grove, Oregon to Ervin Kenneth Phillips and Alice Rae Kruger Phillips.

Susan was a member of De Leon First Baptist Church. She worked for many years in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed many hobbies but was especially interested in crafting and artwork. Susan was a loving fiancé, mother, grandmother and sister. Her family was the center of her life and she was always her happiest while spending time with them. She was very outgoing and lived a colorful life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her fiancé, Joe McCartney; mother, Alice Phillips; son, Sean Davenport; daughters, Shannon Hamilton and husband, Kevin, Sabrina Gillentine and husband, Stephen; and Crystal Daniel; brothers, Donivan Phillips and wife, Luz, and Clay Phillips and wife, Roberta; sisters, Conna Stevens and husband, Glenn, Linda Jones and husband, Charlie, and Melissa Williams and husband, Benny; grandchildren, Morgan, Dalton, Logan, Gavin, Christopher, Katelinn, Rayden and Zane; many nieces and nephews; and other extended family.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Davenport; father, Kenneth Phillips; daughter, Sable Carpenter and husband, Nathan Carpenter; and nephew, Tony Munro.

A celebration of Susan's life was held Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, De Leon, with Don McKee officiating. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA in honor of Susan.
