Syriana Michelle Reid, 7, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior January 11, 2014. She was born August 23, 2006, in Brownwood to Preston Ray Reid and Rebecca Marie Bingham.
Syriana was a first grade student at De Leon Elementary School. She was a social butterfly and had many loving friends. She was a sweet and sassy little girl who loved playing with dolls and barbies. She spent a lot of her time coloring and writing. She enjoyed being outdoors and riding on her scooter. She loved her family and her friends with all of her heart. Although an unimaginable void will be left in the hearts of her loved ones, she is now peacefully at home with her Lord.
She is survived by her parents, Stephen and Rebecca Reynolds and Ray Reid; brothers, Landon Reid and Gary Reynolds; grandparents, Jerry and Tina Bingham and Donna Reid; great-grandparents, Eva Sue Johnson and Preston and Emma Jo Reid; aunt, Kimberly Howard; uncles, Trevor Howard, Justin Bingham and Jonathan Bingham; and other extended family and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of De Leon. Graveside services followed in Stag Creek Cemetery. Brother Jackie Auvenshine and Brother Daniel Harper officiated the services. Serving as pallbearers were Cody Clark, Trevor Howard, Jeremy Troutman, Jimmy Bingham and Mike Bingham. Honorary pallbearers were her loving friends of De Leon Class of 2025.
