Talma Janette Rice Lightfoot, age 94, of Hondo, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. Born May 4, 1921, in De Leon, she was the daughter of Russell and Laura Patterson Rice.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Edward Lightfoot; son, John A. Lightfoot; and brothers, Robert and David Rice.

Survivors include her son, Keith (Judy) Lightfoot of Sherman; daughter, Flora "Flo" (Lex) Cottle of Hondo; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Duke of Ft. Morgan, CO, and Ann Baker of Montgomery, Texas; and sister-in-law, Betty Rice of De Leon.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015, at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Pastor John Woodard officiating. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery.
