Terry Jackson Fields, 82, went home to meet his Lord and Savior June 5, 2022. He was born April 11, 1940, in Paducah, Texas to Horace M. Fields and Edythe Bentley Fields. Terry married Winnie Marie Boen May 2, 1959, in Rock Bluff, Texas.

Terry lived in Comanche County most all his life and graduated from De Leon High School Class of 1959. He was a long-time faithful member of De Leon Church of Christ (HWY 6). Terry had been self-employed in the farm equipment business since 1982. Prior to being self-employed, Terry worked in the construction industry.

He loved to travel and visit new places. He enjoyed motorcycle road trips with his family and many friends. Terry loved to hunt and especially enjoyed his hunting trips in Colorado. Terry and Winnie enjoyed playing in 42 tournaments and attending family reunions. He was a devoted husband to Winnie, a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, loyal brother, and caring friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Donna Fields Cook (John); sons, Don Fields (Stephanie); Jeff Fields (Renee'); grandchildren, Brandon Fields (Courtney), Maisie Fields, Coy Millsap, Kenneth Fields (Samantha), Chelsie Roys (Donny), Courtney Johnson (Clayton), Terry "T.J." Jackson Fields, III, (Jennifer), and KeAiria "Kera" Mills (Zachary), William Jackson Cook and Joshua Cook (Becca); great-grandchildren, Taylor Fields, Emilie Fields, Tyler Fields, Carson Millsap, Lucas Fields, Stevie Roys, Haddan Fields, Cayden Alfano, Carsan Fields, Conley "Jack" Fields, Emerie Fields, Evelyn Fields, Ethan Mayes, Kyleigh Mills, Emma Mayes,  Anna Cook, Gunner Johnson, Sheyenne Johnson, and Jarrett Johnson; great-great granddaughter, Kaisley Johnson; sisters-in-law, Diddy Fields and Paula Fields; brother-in-law, Harold Boen (Karen); numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

He has been reunited with his wife, Winnie; son, Terry "Jack" "Jackson" Fields, Jr.; two grandchildren, Justin Fields and Jessica Cook; brothers, Horace M. Fields, Jr., Maurice Fields, Roger Fields, and Bruce Fields; sister, Martha Lammons; and his parents.

Funeral services celebrating Terry's life were held Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at De Leon Church of Christ (Hwy 6) with Minister Rick Smitherman officiating. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Brandon Fields, Jackson Cook, Joshua Cook, Shane Fields, Jason Fields, Cliff Lammons, Rick Lammons, and T.J. Fields.
