Victor Ybarra, 54, of De Leon, left this world and met his Lord and Savior August 16, 2021. He was born March 27, 1967, in Uvalde, Texas to Juan Ybarra and Josephine Frausto Ybarra.

Victor lived most all his life in the De Leon community and was a long-time truck driver. He was Catholic and loved the Lord. Victor enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. His family was the center of his life, and he was always his happiest while spending time with them. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Victor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Juana Silva; children, Amanda Ybarra, Adrian Victor Ybarra, and Victoria Ybarra; mother, Josephine F. Ybarra; siblings, Gloria Cervantes and husband, Pedro, Angelia Silva, Luisa Silva, Mario Silva, and Jarimma Silva; grandchildren, Alexia Melendres, Kharizma Melendres, Pablo Melendres, Nathaniel Melendres, Zaiden Ybarra, Xzayvian Ybarra, Rhyker Kirkland, Anthony Soto, Allen Soto, Alyssa Hernandez, Ashton Burgess, Brooklyn Burgess, Ava Juarez and Eli Juarez; numerous nieces nephews, and other extended family. Victor has been reunited with his father, Juan Ybarra, Jr.; sister, Lisa Hernandez; and nephew, Eduardo Hernandez.

A family service was held Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home.
